The City of South Bend, Mishawaka, and St. Joseph County to successfully apply for US EPA Brownfield grant funding for a $600,000 FY2014 US EPA award. This website acts as the Public Engagement Portal to help connect the public with the South Bend Brownfield Coalition's efforts. From late 2014 through 2017 we will efficiently identify, prioritize, plan and assess brownfield conditions throughout St. Joseph County, IN.

  1. First, Download the South Bend Brownfield Coalition Grant Assistance Request Application – it will open right up in a different screen!
  2.  Please complete the fillable .pdf Assistance Requst Application it as completely as possible.
  3. When finished, and after you have saved and printed (if desired) your application, please find look ON THE BOTTOM OF THE .PDF FORM to find the “Submit Request by Email” button. When ready to submit, please click on the gray “Submit Request by Email” button.
